I am currently working at a telecommunications company as a developer. I graduated from UBC as a Computer Science major (Commerce minor). A question I often do not have an answer to is when people ask why I'm in Computer Science. I'm personally interested in the asthetics of art and so things like graphics or UI design and implementation most interest me in the field. More front end than back end for me. Except I also have a strange passion for databases.
It has been 10 years (or more) since I got hooked onto manga/ anime. Currently I am obsessed with Ouran Koukou Host Club and Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro. Because of this manga/ anime obsession, I have stepped into the world of doujinshi and am trying to collect the ones from certain artists. It makes too big a dent in my wallet these days!
What do I want to do in 5 years or so? One of two things could happen. I continue to work climbing up the ranks in an area that I'm interested in. Or, I'm back in school pursuing another degree. Mind you, I am most likely doing something visual arts related if I'm going back to school.
